About Me
My name is Stefanie Simpson. I am an environmental professional with experience working in both international and domestic settings on project development and management, outreach and advocacy, organizing and facilitating environmental training workshops, and building cross-sectoral networks. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Masters of Science in Environmental Studies.
My professional experience has included working internationally to promote environmental stewardship in the Philippines, working at state and federal agencies to conduct environmental training events, and working for the non-profit sector, building support and capacity for coastal habitat restoration and conservation through climate finance mechanisms. I have subject matter expertise in coastal blue carbon policy, markets and project implementation.
